A Former Chronicle Newspaper Journalist Says He ‘Killed Rape Stories’ to Save KKD & that KKD is Known for Having Fl*ngs with Little Girls

The truth is; most Ghanaians hate to hear the truth—and this means, those who can say the truth do not bother saying it or become truth oppressors themselves.

Since Kwesi Kyei Darkwah’s rape allegation popped up, over 10 Ghanaian women have come out alleging that, he has se*ually assaulted or rape them in the past—some claimed they were as young as 11 and 14 years.

We cannot for a fact know if these women are telling us the truth—but the probability that they are all lying and one man is the one telling us the truth is non-existing.

Now, a journalist-Mr. William Nyarko who used to work for the Chronicle newspaper between 1995 and 1996 has stated that, he failed to report or killed stories of KKD se*ually assaulting small girls when he was at the newspaper just to save KKD as a brother…

In a discussing the on-going KKD rape allegations on facebook; the journalist wrote “obviously she’s older now and recollecting her encounter with KKD when she was 12. She also mentioned that she had heard similar stories within the agency. But those of us who know KKD know he’s had problems with fl*ngs with little girls. Killed stories at the Chronicle to save “brodaman” Etc but He doesn’t seem to have risen above such smallness.”

To ‘kill a story’ in journalistic parlance means not to go ahead and publish a story even after it has been investigated and copy has been produced. It is often done following pressure from interested parties or at the discretion of a news editor or editor, and usually it is done to satisfy or punish someone or an organization who often are connected to the story, writes Ghana Business News.

Many have said those who really know KKD are not shocked—just as the journalist stated.
