Talk is cheap so give everybody the chance to air his opinion. Ghanaian rapper J.town says Ghanaian musicians are afraid that he will ‘murder’ them on their own songs so they refuse to feature him.
”I don’t normally collaborate with other acts because they are afraid that I will ‘murder or kill’ them on the joint, they are just afraid that I will out-perform them.”Not only did he say that on the EFGH show, he went ahead to say that he is the highest paid Ghanaian act outside Ghana.
‘Outside Ghana, I can say on authority that I receive more money than any other artiste when I play shows over there.”He continued that he at a point in time dealt with a Ghanaian musician severely because of a comment he made about him.
“I was once supposed to play a show outside Ghana and a fellow artiste who was also on the bill got angry as to why I, J.town should be paid more money than him because back home, he is more popular than me. I got pissed and I made sure I dealt with him accordingly.”
