Empire Entertainment is set to host the fifth edition of its signature annual concert, Ghana Meets Naija.
The entertainment powerhouse owned by Starr FM CEO Kwabena Anokye Adisi, more commonly known as Bola Ray, has for the past four years used the competitive platform to promote collaborations between Ghanaian and Nigerian artistes.
The show in the past has seen thrilling performances by artistes such as Brymo, Sarkodie, Tiwa Savage, Castro, Wizkid, Davido, D'banj, 4x4, Shatta Wale, R2bees, and M.I among others.
Both Ghana and Nigeria have had strong representations in the past with the two countries having their fair share of victory moments.
Meanwhile, a source among the organisers has hinted that the Nigerian artistes who have expressed interest in featuring in this year’s concert are some of the “deadliest” the African continent has seen.
“Ghana may have a tough time this year. The Nigerian team is crazy! The deadliest so far,” the source warned.
The organisers have promised that this year’s event will feature some surprises which will beat the minds of patrons.
