Some of the crème de la crème of Ghana’s music industry will be sharing stage at the 7th edition of the Widows Alliance Conference scheduled for Saturday, June 20.
The Widows Alliance Conference of Akumaa Mama Foundation is a platform used in educating and supporting a large number of widows in the country.
This year’s edition will take place at the Pavilion B of the International Trade Fair Centre in Accra from 7am to 4pm under the theme, Transforming Women through Education.
It is expected to bring together over 8000 windows from around the country.
Exciting and encouraging performances are expected from Anita Afriyie, Willie & Mike, Minister OJ, Akosua Agyapong, Gasmilla and a host of others.
There will also be some important dignitaries and resource persons to support at the event.
Widows Alliance Conference is one of the projects which promote sustainable socio-economic development of widows in Ghana. It is the brainchild of presenter and actress Akumaa Mama Zimbi.
She uses every platform she has in the media to encourage women to be strong. She uses her project to help widows establish small-scale businesses to carry on with their lives. This year’s event promises to be ‘explosive’.
