HKN boss, Davido recently told the world that his billionaire father never felt comfortable with his choice of pursuing music as a career because the old man felt most musicians are never-do-well.
“My dad was initially apprehensive about me doing music because many people who went into music made nothing out of it. But when I became successful he was so happy that he let me do what I wanted do.
"All he wanted for me was to be successful. It didn’t matter what I wanted to do if it was swimming or athletics. He just wanted me to be successful in whatever I did. That is really his focus, “ he said.
However in a separate encounter with Showtime the "Aye" crooner confessed that depsite his many hit songs like "Dami Duro", "Skelewu", and now "Aye", "Skelewu" has a special place in his heart.
"That’s a tough one o. From back then down to "Aye" I’ve loved them all. But I may just have special feeling towards "Skelewu"," he said
