He was a former Chief of Jamasi in the Asante Region of Ghana.
Mr. Charles Allen Gyimah, a former Financial Controller of the Kumasi Asante Kotoko Football Club under the Bawuah Administration, was key in revolutionizing movie-making in Ghana.
He was the first to introduce video to Ghana in the early 1980’s. He produced the first video movie with a world-class company and was the owner of the popular cinema chain, Video City, across the country.
