Afia who is an ambassador for children’s homes and Orphans in Ghana with over 80 orphanages under her care is putting up this high profile dinner to raise money to support orphanages and give brilliant but needy children, educational scholarship in various orphanages across the country.
“I often hear or see companies and individuals donate and support various orphanages with money, food, drinks and other physical materials and I commend any group or individuals who have supported the less privileged in our society but I believe we should also think of giving them something that will impact on their lives and give them a lifetime gift which is education”, she explained.
Afia emphasized that “education is the only gift we can give these children to assure them a better future and make them responsible people in our society. So am calling on all companies, philanthropists, NGOs, groups and individual who have the desire to put smiles on the faces of these less provided children to come let’s dine and wine, dance and contribute to a worthy national course”.
