Alright, you know we love music and we love our musicians. They make
our boring days special. The music train in Ghana keeps moving, it all
started from Kumasi and moved to Accra, it embarked on another move all
the way to Tema. Tema rappers/musicians like Sarkodie, R2Bees, Dr.
Cryme, Stay Jay, Yaa Pono have made their mark in the Ghana music
industry.
Dancehall has taken over the music scene now but it seems Hip Hop and
rap is still soaring up. When we talk about rap, let’s see new rappers
who look promising and seem to have a future. Flip through the pages.
KOFI KINAATA
One of the best Fante rappers, had his biggest debut with Castro when he released “
Odo Pa“. Kofi Kinaata is signed to Samini’s High Grade Family and is slowly creeping up with his funny Fante rhymes. More grease Kofi.
EPISODE
I have only listened to one song from Episode and I must admit, he is
very good at what he does. He is taking Dancehall to a whole new level.

ENO
Highly-praised female rapper, ENO has been praised by many since she released a cover version of Joey B’s “
Tonga”
song. Her version has got close to 100K views on YouTube with applause
from all corners. Eno is here to stay as she was co-signed by Sarkodie.
KOJO CUE
Recently signed to BBnZ, KOJO-CUE has won the hearts of many as
Ghana’s finest king of rhymes. We can’t wait for when BBnZ will unearth
the talent in him. His first BBnZ job was a verse on Lil’ Shaker’s “
Handkerchief” song.
TUUTULAPATO
After winning TV3′s talented kidz show, Tuutulapato’s fan base has
grown. He has dropped many bangers to an awesome response. With the
right direction, Tuutulapato will be one of the top artistes. Listen to

TEEPHLOW
Signed to Hammers Last 2 Music, Teephlow is here to stay. His recent
releases on Hammer’s beats are excellent. He keeps coming through with

PAPPY KOJO
Pappy Kojo has been rapping for some time but his biggest breakthrough has been his verse on Joey B’s recent release “

STRONGMAN
Even though we know Strongman sounds a bit like Sarkodie, we have to
give it to him, he’s got bars and style. Listen to his recent song “

CABUM
One of Kumasi’s finest rappers, currently moved to Accra seems to be
going up and up. His recent release is enjoying airplay on several radio
stations and people have started adapting to his style. Listen to his

MZVEE
MZVEE has taken the baton from Kaakie since she went on hibernation.
MzVee has eventually become the dancehall queen. With her big songs like
Natural Girl,
Ree-Vee-Lation and more. She has won the hearts of many with her Dancehall vibes.
